For a decade, a fully AI-capable PC at a budget price in India seemed like a dream. But on 17 November 2025, that dream became reality. The CM of Karnataka, Mr. Siddaramaiah officially launched the computer KEO AI PC — an affordable, AI-ready personal computer for personal use, workers and specially students.
To promote digital inclusion and empower residents, Karnataka has built it entirely inhouse, in partnership with KEONICS (Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation), and the Department of Electronics, IT & BT.
The device is named as an abbreviation: Knowledge-driven, Economical and Open-source (KEO) having an insight of accessibility, inclusion, and local innovation.
Let’s get a closer approach to KEO AI PC
